Ron Bohl

Ron Bohl is a Supply Chain Advisor for Eli Lilly & Company. Ron has specific responsibilities for all supply chain business processes and owns the Operating Standards for Supply Chain Excellence, OSSCE certification program for all Lilly manufacturing sites, sales affiliates and supply chains. He has been instrumental in the design and implementation of Lilly’s ERP system using SAP and APO.

Prior to joining Lilly in 2000, Ron spent 26 years in manufacturing and manufacturing consulting, including 14 years consulting in Supply Chain principles within the pharmaceutical industry.

Ron has provided instruction in many public and on-site seminars, both in the US and internationally, including specific education for Executive Management, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing.

Ron is APICS certified at the Fellow level. He has conducted CPIM instruction classes and participated in developing the certification examinations. Ron has made presentations at many professional society meetings and conferences, company management meetings, and software users' group meetings.  He is the Chapter Editor of the chapter on "Capacity Planning" in the current edition of The Production and Inventory Control Handbook. He has written many articles for publication.
