Christopher Van Norman

Chris Van Norman is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations (SCO). In this role, he leads McKesson’s pharmaceutical supply chain operations strategy and oversees the movement of brand, generic and specialty medications from manufacturers, through over 30 distribution centers and eight central fill locations to customers across the United States. Chris leads over 7,500 supply chain team members and oversees key functions such as transportation, inventory planning, network design, customer support, data and insights and quality/regulatory compliance. His vast experience enables the SCO organization to foster deep relationships with stakeholders, gain industry insights and continually develop competitive advantages.

Most recently, Chris served as Vice President of Distribution, where he led a team of 6,000 associates across the distribution, transportation and engineering networks.

Since joining McKesson in 2007, Chris has held a variety of leadership roles, from Senior Industrial Engineer to Director of Operations for multiple distribution centers. He later served as Vice President of Strategic Operations, overseeing all U.S. Pharma distribution efforts. His leadership skills have been recognized with two President’s Club Awards and the Sigma Champion Award for his commitment to operational excellence. Notably, Chris also led the National Redistribution Center throughout 2019 and 2020when the team received the Outstanding Achievement Award, honoring their dedication and resilience.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
