David Baker is a supply chain and operations leader with extensive experience building and scaling supply chain capabilities across biotechnology, healthcare, and regulated manufacturing environments. As a supply chain leader at TScan Therapeutics, David is responsible for developing resilient supply chain strategies that support the advancement of next-generation T-cell therapies from clinical development toward commercialization. Throughout his career, David has led initiatives spanning external manufacturing, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory management, distribution operations, and supply chain transformation. His expertise includes building high-performing supplier and CMO partnerships, strengthening operational resilience, mitigating supply risk, and creating scalable processes capable of supporting rapidly evolving product portfolios. Prior to joining TScan Therapeutics, David held leadership positions at Cardinal Health, Fresenius Medical Care, and ABB Optical Group, where he drove operational excellence initiatives, implemented Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs, optimized distribution and fulfillment networks, and led complex cross-functional teams through periods of growth and transformation. His diverse background across healthcare distribution, medical devices, and life sciences has provided him with a unique perspective on managing supply chain complexity in highly regulated environments. He holds an MBA from Curry College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Newbury College.
