Gloria is a seasoned leader with 25 years of experience in the Consumer Health, Pharmaceutical, and MedTech industries, specializing in digital transformation with cross-functional business and technology expertise. Since April 2023, she has been the Associate Vice President of Digital Supply Chain at Merck, leading the Digital Supply Chain Value Team. In this role, Gloria collaborates with Global Supply Chain Management and additional stakeholders to drive digital transformation, modernizing end-to-end value chains from suppliers to customers and patients. The DSC team focuses on advancing innovation, digital maturity, and building a resilient, agile, and sustainable global supply chain.
Before joining Merck, Gloria spent nearly 23 years at Johnson & Johnson, where she held various roles, including Senior Director of Supply Chain Technology Strategy, Director of Customer and Sales Digital Products, and Director of Healthcare Technology Services. Her diverse background encompasses Commercial, R&D, and Supply Chain functions, with an emphasis on digital product delivery, process improvement, and organizational leadership.
A strong advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, Gloria held leadership positions in the Hispanic & Latino Employee Resource Group at J&J for over 15 years. At Merck, she is actively involved with EBRGs and recently joined the IT DEI Council. Additionally, she supports future leadership development as a Board Member of the HITEC Foundation and in Board Advisory roles at Saint Peter’s University.
