Henry Ames

General Manager, Logistics Orchestration TraceLink

Henry Ames serves as the General Manager of Logistics Orchestration for TraceLink. Prior to TraceLink, Ames spent 18 years leading Sensitech’s life sciences vertical – most recently as the General Manager. He was responsible for corporate strategy, business development, strategic marketing, and sales. Prior to Sensitech, he was a principal at Megunticook Management, a venture capital firm in Boston with $150 million under management and investments in promising communications, media, and technology companies. Ames earned an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, and a double major in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. He is a current member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) and co-chairs the Supply Chain Management Interest Group (SCMIG). Ames has held a number of industry related roles. He served on the Board of Overseers of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston, MA and has served on both the Committee for Patient Care Safety and Community Benefits Committee. Ames spent over a decade as a member of the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Time and Temperature Working Group (TTWG) and has participated as a Mentor for the World Health Organization’s Cold Chain Management on Wheels experiential learning program. Ames also currently serves as the President and a Director of the Easton Community Corporation (ECC) – a 501C (2) entity supporting thirteen non-profits in the town of North Easton, MA.
