Michael Orlowski

Vice President, Supply Chain and Technical Operations Daiichi Sankyo, Inc

Mike Orlowski is the Vice President of Supply Chain and Technical Operations, accountable for making and delivering all current and future medicines to Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.’s customers. With more than twenty years' experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, quality assurance, and finance, Mike has performed in a number of professional and leadership roles. Prior to joining Daiichi Sankyo in 2013, he was the global head of procurement and customer contracting for Aptuit, a pharmaceutical development company with operations in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Previously, he held positions of increasing supply chain responsibility at Mannkind, Cephalon, and AstraZeneca. During this time he was responsible for the successful launches of several new products, including megabrands.

Mike received his B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University and his M.S. in Business Administration from Boston University. Mike is a certified management accountant. After serving more than twenty years as an engineer officer, Mike retired from the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. He held command, engineering and supply chain roles, and was stationed both in the U.S. and overseas. Mike lives in Warwick, New York with his wife Bonnie. They have three grown children. Outside of work, Mike enjoys running and participating in outdoor activities with family and friends.
