Michel Russell, Sr., the Executive Director for Intercompany Operations within the BMS Global Supply Chain, plays a pivotal role. His global responsibilities are extensive, covering critical areas such as multi-modal transportation, cold chain processes, primary warehousing strategy, and external manufacturing supply chain operations. These functions directly contribute to the resilient execution of global logistics operations, business development, and business continuity efforts. As a recently retired Army 2-star general, Michel brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his role. His final tour of duty, overseeing Army and multi-national logistics operations across 22 countries, leading over 20,000 soldiers and civilians in the Middle East, underscores his ability to manage complex and multifaceted challenges across a full spectrum of environments and geopolitical conditions. Beyond the professional sphere, Michel’s personal life reflects his values. His 34-year marriage, two grown sons and daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren exemplify the importance of family and enduring relationships. His youngest son is currently serving on active duty as a military intelligence analyst. Michel’s passion for family, veterans, and mentoring aligns perfectly with the spirit of paying it forward.
