Phaedra Culjak

With a career spanning over 20 years focused on improving the supply chain with the use of technology innovations such as RFID, Bluetooth, IOT sensors and integrations, Ms. Culjak has been at the forefront of supply chain automation improvements and value-add across a number of industries. Early in her career, she oversaw the first full traceability system at an abattoir in North America to create transparency of the product for producers resulting in better management decisions from breeding and feeding to nutritional regiments. Ms. Culjak consulted on various projects in produce from RFID field data collection to grain tracking in a flour mill reducing the number of re-blends to meet specifications resulting in increased productivity. As Co-Founder and COO of a Cold-Chain Management company, Ms. Culjak identified inefficiencies and waste in perishable food due to temperature variances utilizing IOT Temperature Sensors, Readers and creating one of the first Cloud-based Management Systems. She helped create a “First Expired, First Out” inventory system based on “shelf life remaining” from Harvest to Retail Store allowing for a reduction in food waste and greater profitability. In regional pharmaceutical fulfillment centers, she utilized sensors and integration to track products, processes, deliveries and SOPs to the retail pharmacy, identifying compliance failures.
